Wall Brooch

Within the Wall Brooch series of work, Susan play’s with the idea of adornment, space and abstraction. With the use of fine steel wire and glass elements she creates wall pieces that create their own drawings with light and shadow. Susan builds the image with light, she has worked with scale to create a presence; they demand that observers engage with them in a more physical and direct way. The pieces are interwoven with shadow and movement as the light passes from day into night.
